The Villanova University
Institutional Financial Aid Application
This application allows the Office of Financial Assistance to begin work on your
family's aid package. It also serves as your official application for Villanova
University grants. Incoming freshmen are
automatically sent this form if interest in financial
assistance was indicated on the school application. Upper-class students are sent
this form if they received any type of assistance the
previous year.
The VU Institutional Financial Aid Application is not available for online
completion, though you may download the appropriate form here and print it. As
always, be sure to meet the appropriate deadlines.

Prospective students - please note!
If you are not able to complete your 2007 Federal or Puerto Rico Tax Return by February 7, 2008 please advise us by indicating such on page 2 of the VU
Application. Check the second option in either (or both) the student or parent section and advise us of the date you expect to submit your taxes to us.
Look for this option: Signed 2007 tax return, with W-2 and 1099/1099R
forms will be submitted to Villanova by February 7, 2008.
Tax Returns
Villanova's Office of Financial Assistance verifies all undergraduate
applicants for financial assistance. In order for us to complete the
verification process, you must provide signed copies of the student's and
parents'/stepparent's 2007 US Federal or Puerto Rico Tax Return and all
schedules (if filed). Also be sure to include all 2007 W-2 and/or 1099 or 1099R forms.
If you are applying for financial assistance for the 2008-2009 academic year, we
will need signed copies of your 2007 Tax Returns and 2007 W-2 and/or 1099 or
1099R forms.
Send these to the Office of Financial Assistance, along with the Institutional Financial Aid Application, if
possible. Tax returns are due at the same time as the VU Institutional Financial Aid Application.
If you will not be able to provide a completed tax return by the deadline, you
must request an extension in writing or submit a copy of your IRS extension
form.
